I've heard a kit of people say do red lipstick with your red dress but that doesn't work for me, it's just not my style. So I am going to do really smoky eyes but what color should my lips be?? If you’re doing really smokey eyes I would go for a nude or light pink lip color…I’m really pale so I’m not certain how this shade would work on you, but I just recently picked up a pale pink lipstick at Wal-Mart by Flower Beauty called Kiss Stick Luxury Lip Color in Morning Glory. It is my HG satin finish nude-pink now and it beats even the high-end products I’ve tried! It is free from shimmer/frost/glitter but it has a lovely sheen…reminds me of MAC Cremesheens, really. I’ve searched for this color endlessly and I intend to get tons of backups. I couldn’t believe I finally found this shade at Wal-Mart of all places! I love it with smokey eyes. If you want to go more beige-nude, I like MAC Lipstick in Myth and Florabundance or C-Thru Lipglass, although they might wash you out depending on how tan you are. In that case, you could try Honeylove or another darker, warmer nude. These colors will also be easier to maintain throughout the night than red would. I hope this helps a little bit! Have fun! <3
